ABOUT US
Daraja United Women and Youth Empowerment (DAUWOYE) a national NGO that is based in Kenya and its core mandate is to improve quality of life of vurlnerable communities via Advocacy, Awareness creation, Service delivery,and research.
We are located on the third floor at Masaba Building, next to The Place Building that houses NHIF Kisii, Kenya.

Consultation on SHA
Keeping up with regulations and compliance, we had a
consultative meeting on Social Health Authority,with representatives from
Ministry of Health.
International Day of the Girl Child
11th of October was the International Day of the Girl Child. DAUWOYE alongside European Union worked to sensitize young girls at Kisii Children's Home in Jogoo, Kisii county, on FGM and it's effects. The event was organized by Kisii County Government, who extended an invitation to us. There is need to end FGM in the Kisii community and we are working towards achieving that goal.

DAUWOYE and kids(Back during the covid era)
Back to school after the closedown during covid-19 period and some of the girls were pregnant as the young ones did not want to back to school.
This was because of fear of infection of COVID -19.
Dauwoye gave school uniforms as an incentive in the entire Kisii County .
